IN-HOUSE EXPERIENCE

Old National Bank

At Old National I wear many hats, utilizing my extensive background in digital transformation, brand management, and experience design to drive business through our digital channels. I enjoy collaborating with partners throughout the company, including executive management, to ensure our marketing and design efforts align with our business objectives and create impactful solutions for our customers. Upon joining the team, I played an integral role in designing, developing, and launching our award-winning website and currently manage the day-to-day operations. Through our customer-centric approach to digital marketing, our team develops and executes strategies that improve digital engagement, increase customer acquisition, while creating interactions that elevate client experiences. An integral piece of our content strategy includes video. I take pride in managing our production efforts – including annual budget, vendor relationships, and production schedule. Our video strategy focuses on telling stories that have depth and emotion, because of this attention to storytelling our videos consistently receive national recognition in the form of Emmy, Addy and ABA Banking Awards.

“Hire your replacement” is the phrase that came to mind when hiring Brian. His ability to interact with different project owners and put them at ease is a skill most never learn. Brian would be an asset to any team.

Kitch & Schreiber Advertising

During my tenure at K&S, the marketing landscape began to shift. I was an early adopter of digital technologies and saw how they could play a key role in marketing the products and services for our clients. I led our companies digital transformation, researching new technologies and developing systems for our clients to improve their online presence. We shifted from print to digital services, offering website design and hosting, email marketing, social media marketing, SEO/SEM, digital photography, and video production. As we transitioned, I saw a transformation in myself. When promoted to Creative Director, my focus shifted from designing, to team building and business development. As the creative lead on all client projects I managed vendor relationships, budgets, and marketing strategies. The highlight of this role was hiring, training, and mentoring my design team. I truly enjoyed working with them, leveraging and growing their skills, and helping them formulate a path to advance in their careers.

IN-HOUSE EXPERIENCE

House Hunter

My first creative job was working at a national real-estate company. This is where I learned the nuts and bolts of the print industry. I was hired as a production designer, working primarily on our weekly magazines. I developed an interest in digital media, including web and video. This interest led to a role maintaining our corporate website and producing TV commercials for our franchises and advertisers across the United States. When promoted to Production Manager, I led our design and video team, while coordinating the production schedule for our magazines and TV shows.

FREELANCE/CONSULTING

Scroggins Design

I began my professional design career during my junior year in college when I started freelancing for a group of medical associations. Over the years that work has expanded from design services to design thinking, where I consult and speak on experience design, marketing strategy, creative team management and video production.
